A Grease Spray System is an automated or semi-automated lubrication system that applies grease in a fine spray form to moving or rotating machine components. It is commonly used where traditional grease lines are impractical, especially for open, high-speed, or exposed parts. Grease from a central pump is mixed with compressed air at a spray nozzle, which atomizes the grease and directs it precisely onto lubrication points such as gear teeth or chain links. The lubrication can operate continuously or intermittently and may be controlled through a control panel for improved efficiency. These systems are widely used in applications such as open gears (kilns, ball mills, girth gears), chains and conveyors, rack-and-pinion drives, wire ropes, crane slewing rings, and industries including steel, cement, mining, and bulk material handling.
